Conference venues

This years MobileHCI conference is mobile itself. It features three different locations, which all lie within 5 min of walking. The Conference Headquarters remains at the ICT&S Center throughout the conference.

On-Site Registration

Online registration will close on Wednesday, September 14. After that, registration is possible on-site starting Sunday afternoon.

For your convenience, the Registration Office is mobile as well: it moves with the current conference location.

You can register at the Registration Office on-site. We accept payment by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners Club, JCB) or in cash.

 

Conference Sessions

Approximate lengths of each type of presentation are:

  • Full papers: 15 min presentation + 5 min discussion
  • Short papers: 10 min presentation + 2 min discussion

A PC with wired Internet connection will be provided for the presentation. Presenters can still use their own computer, but in this case no wired Internet can be provided. We encourage presenters with their own computer to test the setup before their session starts!

 

Setup time for posters, demos, industrial cases

The setup time for posters, demos and industrial cases will be after first session on Wednesday 21.9. starting from 10:40 until 12:00, in the foyer of the Great University Hall (entrance Furtwängler park). All posters, demos and industrial cases should be already set up in the lunch break, with a dedicated timeslot in the afternoon (14:30-15:30).

 

Internet Access

Wireless Internet access will be available on conference days.
