Registration

Online registration has closed. You can register at the conference venue starting Sunday afternoon.

Secure On-line Registration: 128-bit Encryption or Better Required

In order to access the secure server for registration, your browser must include 128-bit encryption. If you are using Internet Explorer Version 5.0 or earlier, you must upgrade your browser with the IE High Encryption Pack.

Conference Registration Deadlines

• Early: On or before August 5
• Regular: On or before September 5
• Late/On site: After September 5

• Three days of Technical Sessions
• Conference Proceedings
• Lunches on Conference days (with vegetarian option)

Conference Fees

All conference and tutorial fees are in Euro.

Student registration: Full time students qualify for the student registration fee. Students must provide proof of full-time status, such as a student identification card, on-site at the time of registration check-in. Alternatively, prior to September 2 2005 a letter or other document showing current full-time status must be faxed to +43.662.6389.4800 or mailed to the address below. Include your Registration Number, which will be issued at the end of the secure on-line registration process.

Single day registration: A single day registration is valid for the selected day only (selection is available on the registration form). It does not include the civic reception or the conference dinner.

Payment: Registration forms must be accompanied by payment. Participants may pay for their conference registration by bank transfer, or credit cards (VISA, MasterCard/Eurocard, American Express, Diners Club, or JCB).

Tutorial Registration

Half-day or full-day tutorials are offered on September 19 2005. There is a separate fee for each tutorial. It is also possible to register for the tutorial only (without the main conference). Participants cannot register for both the tutorials as well as workshops (since they take place in parallel on September 19).

Tutorials registration fees include: attendance at one tutorial, coffee/tea-breaks, lunch, one copy of tutorial material.

Workshop Registration

Workshops are held on September 19 2005. All workshop participants must be approved by the workshop organisers in order to register for the selected workshop. Workshops are free of charge for the approved participants.

If you are an accredited press member willing to report on the MobileHCI'05 conference, please contact the Conference Office by sending an e-mail to mobilehci@icts.sbg.ac.at.

Special Needs and Access

The conference registration form includes space for any special needs you may have. If you need special assistance, please contact the Conference Office.

Cancellation and Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted in writing and must be received at the Registration Office on or before September 5 2005. A €50 cancellation fee will be deducted to cover processing costs. MobileHCI'05 cannot accept refund requests after September 5 2005. Mail your cancellation and refund requests to:

Registration Transfers

If you cannot attend, your registration may be transferred by giving a colleague a letter authorizing the transfer. The letter must be presented at registration on-site.

Confidentiality

Data that you provide to this conference will not be distributed to anyone without your permission. You will be asked during the registration process which information you are willing to make available in the conference Delegate List. This list will be made available for individual query purposes, to the other attendees. The Delegate List is not provided in bulk form to any outside organisation.
