The social event of MobileHCI'05 will take place at the summer palace of Hellbrunn. Hunting lodges are there for hunting, residences to live in and to govern from - but what is actually a summer palace? Quite simply: a place for celebration, for pleasure and recuperation - a representative holiday domicile with a park and trick fountains. Summer palaces were highly fashionable around 1615 when Markus Sittikus started to build Hellbrunn. Little has changed at Hellbrunn in over 400 years.

An exclusive guided tour will introduce you to the water fountains in the park of Hellbrunn. A welcome cocktail within the Schlosshof - illuminated with torches - will prepare you for a lovely dinner. We will over you a variety of traditional Austrian food combined with Italian spirit - typical for the period this castle was built in. And for all fans of Sound of Music: The Pavilion in which Liesl and Franz first mets is in the palace park at Hellbrunn.
